Linkedin platform changes 2023

6 changes coming to Linkedin in 2023

LinkedIn recently announced seven updates that are set to be released on its platform in 2023. These updates aim to enhance the user experience and enable businesses to better connect with their target audience. Here’s a little snapshot of those changes.

Audience engagement insights:

This feature will provide businesses with insights on how their content is performing on the platform. They will be able to see metrics such as the number of likes, comments, and shares, giving them a better understanding of their audience's engagement.

Lead Gen Forms in Stories:

LinkedIn Stories will now support lead generation forms, allowing businesses to collect valuable information from their audience. This feature will make it easier for businesses to generate leads and connect with potential customers.

LinkedIn learning hub:

LinkedIn is revamping its learning platform with a new Learning Hub. This will make it easier for users to discover relevant courses and develop their professional skills.

Improved job matching:

LinkedIn will be using AI to improve job matching, providing users with more relevant job opportunities based on their skills and experience. This feature will make it easier for job seekers to find the right job and for recruiters to find the right candidate.

Linkedin Marketing platform changes

Business insights dashboard:

This feature will provide businesses with insights on how their company is performing on LinkedIn. They will be able to see metrics such as follower growth, engagement, and audience demographics.

LinkedIn groups revamp:

LinkedIn is revamping its Groups feature to make it easier for users to connect with like-minded professionals. Users will be able to join groups based on their interests and engage in meaningful discussions.

These are the main updates set to be released in 2023. The standout change seems to be the integration of AI into the job matching meaning you’ll be handing some control over to the all mighty artificial intelligence - we’re guessing, at least initially, with mixed results.
